Enotropea Tours is a tour operator that promotes wine tourism, based in Florence, Italy. As a company, we are specialized in wine tours, providing personalized customer service. With our every endeavor, optimal quality is what we stand up for. We propose the concept of “Private tours”, having in mind to promote exclusivity and give a personal and unique touch to our tours.
Being a novice on the market does not make us less experienced, as the company was born with the willingness to blend our previous experiences in tourism and in the wine universe. Enotropea Tours was born out of the dream of a wine connoisseurs Angel, with extensive life-time experience of both the tourism industry and wine. We decided to put our expertise into a personal project that aims to challenge stereotypes and commit to uniqueness.
What makes us exclusive? We offer private tours that do not exceed more than 6 people, as we want to distance ourselves from the “packed with tourists” tours. We offer travelling in full comfort and in an intimate environment. No matter if you travel for business or leisure, or you are simply a true wine lover, we are here to accommodate your tastes and share our passion for wine, food, history and arts.
We proudly boast a team of bilingual or trilingual employees, both behind the scenes and working directly with tourists and collaborators respectively. On the same note, our staff are well-qualified as wine experts so as to properly meet the clients’ requirements. Therefore, for the entire trip, you will be accompanied by a double-qualified tour guide and wine expert, fluent in English, Spanish, or both languages.
Exclusivity also comes from the fact that we offer hand-picked destinations and locations in different regions of Italy. Our offers are designed after a careful selection of premium wineries and accompanying service providers tailored for each and every destination we work in. Most of the wineries distinguish themselves from the “mainstream”, being classified as boutique wineries. By this, it is meant smaller production family-owned wineries that retain their charm and passion for wine. These one-of-a-kind wineries will open your doors exclusively for your visit.

Our Team
Angel
Born in Spain, in the heart of DO Ribera del Guadiana, into a winemaking family. Received his sommelier credentials through the Spanish School of Sommelier at the Escuela de Hostelería y Turismo de Cáceres and WSET in London (Wine and Spirit Education Trust). His passion for food and wine, combined with his background in luxury travel and tourism, inspired him to create a Boutique Wine Experiences company.
Daria
Florence is the incredible city where I was born and where I studied art and architecture. Boston, however, has been my second home. A few years ago, I moved back to Florence, and while I missed the international experience, I was also grateful to be living in the beautiful region of Tuscany. Being a guide is the perfect job for me it allows me to continue connecting with people from around the world while sharing Italy’s rich culture and stunning destinations. I love introducing travellers to the beauty, history, and traditions of this incredible country, making every journey a memorable experience.

Originally from the Chicago area, I studied fine arts in Florence and never left! I moved here in 2008 to marry my husband, Michelangelo who I met at The Art Bar, of all places. As an artist and energy healer, I see the world through a creative and intuitive lens, which naturally extends to the way I guide travelers. I love connecting with people, sharing the beauty of Italy beyond Florence, and making each tour a personal experience. At home in the countryside, I juggle life with two kids, three dogs, and one adventurous giant African snail who keeps us on our toes with frequent great escapes!

Born and raised in Florence, I grew up surrounded by art and history. I spent years working in the art business with my father, a lifelong antiques dealer, and traveled extensively, especially to the U.S., where I lived in both Miami and New York. In 2018, I decided to turn my love for culture and storytelling into a new adventure and became a licensed tour guide. Now, I share the beauty of Tuscany with travelers from around the world.

Anglo-Italian hiking guide and landscape expert, leading tours for international travellers based in Florence. (Licensed as an "Environment Guide" under Italian law.) With a background in international trade and a passion for nature and culture, I’ve traveled extensively across Europe, gaining experience in hosting and guiding. Before becoming a tour leader, I specialized in organic agriculture and historical landscape restoration. Now, I blend my love for the outdoors with my expertise in landscapes, history and wines.

The travel bug bit me early, with a solo cross-country journey at just seven years old. Since then, I've always felt a deep connection to diverse cultures, a feeling that blossomed into a 15-year love affair with Italy. That lifelong passion for exploration is what I bring to my tours. I'm an artist at heart, with a background in oil painting, and I love to see the world through a creative lens. I also have a deep appreciation for the finer things in life, fueled by master chef training and a sommelier certification, so expect some delicious discoveries along the way. As a certified health and wellness coach, I bring a mindful and balanced perspective to travel, enriching your experience with a sense of well-being. More than anything, I'm a fellow traveler, eager to share the beauty and wonder of the world, and the experiences that make us human.

Born and raised in Florence, I’ve always been a restless spirit, with a lifelong passion for sports, travel, and great food. After spending 12 years in London, I returned to Italy and now call the rolling hills of Chianti home. With over 15 years in the hospitality industry, I’ve had the privilege of working in some of the world’s most vibrant places, learning how food, wine, and culture bring people together. Back in Tuscany, I now split my time between sharing this incredible region with guests and helping my family with our extra virgin olive oil production and bee keeping.
